Brisbane, Australia

Forces Group Australia has announced a strategic shift in its business direction, moving beyond manufacturing to establish a deployable infrastructure systems platform designed to strengthen collaboration between Australian industry and government.

Over the past four years the company has designed and manufactured deployable gym containers in Australia, with several units supporting Commonwealth agencies. This experience provided first hand insight into the operational environments faced by defence personnel, emergency services and other government teams working in demanding conditions.

According to the Forces Group team, the experience highlighted a broader opportunity.

“The need goes far beyond fitness infrastructure,” said the company. “There is growing demand for deployable systems that support operations, resilience and capability in the field.

Forces Group’s leadership team includes individuals who have served in military roles and others who currently work as firefighters and first responders. Their experience has shaped the company’s evolving focus on practical infrastructure systems that support operational readiness and resilience.

As a result, the company is now establishing what it calls the Forces Group Capability Alliance.

The platform will bring together specialist Australian businesses across engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors to collaborate on integrated systems designed for government, defence and emergency services.

The approach focuses on combining capabilities from multiple companies rather than relying on a single provider.

“No single company solves every challenge,” the team said. “But when the right capabilities work together under one framework, the outcomes become far stronger.”

The platform will initially focus on deployable systems across four key areas:

  1. Deployable facilities

  2. Mobile operational systems

  3. Energy and utility systems

  4. Autonomous and monitoring systems

Forces Group also emphasised the importance of its identity as a 100 percent Indigenous owned business. Through the Indigenous Procurement Policy, government agencies have a clear pathway to procure capability while also strengthening Indigenous participation in Australia’s national supply chain.

The company sees this as another practical way to support defence personnel, first responders and the wider Australian community during an increasingly uncertain global environment.

Forces Group believes collaboration across Australian industry will play a key role in strengthening national resilience.

“If organisations across industry focus on building solutions together, the country becomes stronger for it,” the team said.

Forces Group is now seeking collaboration with Australian companies operating in defence capability, infrastructure, advanced technology and emergency services sectors that wish to contribute to the growing capability alliance.
